Fine Art Relocation

Fine Art Relocation Services

Elliott is the only fine art moving company in Africa that is a recognised member of ICEFAT (International Convention of Exhibition and Fine Art Transporters). We’re part of an international network of fine art handling agents who provide the highest standards in the industry to protect fine art, antiquities, and artefacts in storage and transit around the world.

Leonardo da Vinci, the Art in Embassies program, Hanover Expo Germany, Africa meets Africa, and Picasso are some of the global exhibitions we’ve handled. In South Africa, our customers include prominent museums, galleries, artists, and private collectors.

Your art or antique collection is a unique and irreplaceable asset, that’s why we believe it’s worth taking every precaution to keep it safe. With that in mind, our specialist division is dedicated to offering a range of world-class fine art services, such as state-of-the-art packing, transportation, shipping and installation across Southern Africa and the world.

Just like great art is a one-of-a-kind, so is every relocation. From custom-built crates to specialised packaging, our bespoke services cater to your unique needs. Our team of trained experts know how to keep even the most delicate art pieces protected during every part of the moving process. With Elliott, you can be certain that your works of art arrive in perfect condition at your new home, office or gallery.

Whether you are moving your artwork nationally or internationally, Elliott’s specialised moving division will handle the move with world-class proficiency. Our team will conduct a pre-move survey of the artwork that needs to be moved before proposing a plan for their relocation. Our sales consultant will include recommendations for solid and/or skeleton crating, whether crating will occur on or off-site, wrapping and packing, goods-in-transit insurance, and SARS documents required for artwork moving across international borders. Elliott’s team will also advise you on storage options at our main centres if artwork cannot be installed or exhibited at their new location for a period of time.

State-of-the-art packing, transportation, shipping, and installation are part of Elliott’s accredited art relocation service. If you would like to know more about how Elliott can help you move your artwork to a new home, gallery, exhibition, or country, please do not hesitate to contact our highly skilled sales team for more information about art relocation.
